What a junior mining company’s investor website needs.

The website is where an analyst goes after the deck. It should answer their next question without a phone call. Here is what that takes.

The five sections every reader expects

Projects, News, Investors, Corporate, and Contact. Investors arrive with a mental map of where things live on an issuer’s site; matching it means they find what they came for, and inventing a new structure means they leave.

The investor-relations essentials

A live share quote; the full news-release archive; links to your SEDAR+ filings and technical reports; the current corporate presentation and fact sheet; capital structure; and a way to sign up for news. Each should be one click from the Investors page and current on the day of every release.

Project pages that answer the next question

Each project page should cover location and access, with a locator map; the geology, in plain language; the key drill results, shown on sections; any resource estimate, with its category, effective date, and Qualified Person; and the next catalysts. This is the page most likely to be read by someone deciding whether to take a meeting.

Keep it current

A site with last quarter’s deck, an old resource figure, or a news page that stops in spring costs more credibility than no site at all. Decide who posts each release, figure, and filing, and how quickly after it goes out — ideally the same day.

Webflow or WordPress?

Both work well for a junior. Webflow suits companies that want a polished, design-led site that’s quick to launch and easy for a small team to keep current, with little plugin maintenance. WordPress suits companies that need bespoke functionality — multiple languages, large document libraries, deep integrations — or already run on it. Choose on how your team will update the site, not on the platform’s reputation.

Hosting and security

Fast global delivery (a CDN), SSL, daily backups, uptime monitoring, and timely software updates. A site that is slow or offline on the morning of a release does real damage, so make sure someone is responsible for keeping it up.
